8 GB Memory - 256 GB Storage
Community Reviews
Lenovo Idea Tab is a budget 11 inch Android tablet that stands out for note taking, reading, and media on its sharp 2.5K IPS screen with active stylus support. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, along with 2 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates, make it feel well equipped for school use. The display is described as brighter than expected at 800 nits, and the 3.5mm jack is a handy bonus. The main tradeoff is the Dimensity 6300 class processor, which trails faster rivals and may matter for heavier multitasking. It fits best as a practical classroom tablet with strong screen value.
The tablet is described as supporting two major Android updates and four years of security updates.
The 2.5K display and included pen support are positioned as strong for note-taking and handwriting.
The tablet is reported to stream YouTube at the highest quality setting after setup.
The included 3.5mm jack is reported to help with inconspicuous streaming setups.
The CPU is described as slower than the budget Galaxy Tab A11+ in performance comparisons.
128GB storage is described as a deal breaker because local storage matters for apps.
Setup is reported to be cumbersome because the device tries to install unwanted apps like Temu and TikTok.
A release timing concern is raised, suggesting only about one Android version update and roughly three years of security updates remaining.

Thank you for pointing this out, I pulled the trigger. Better processor, bigger and brighter screen (800 nits). 128GB storage, is not a deal breaker, as I was planning to use a Micro SD cards anyways.

A bit better value with significantly better processor with dimensity 8300 vs 6400

The budget Galaxy Tab A11+ also has only 6GB of memory, 128GB storage, lower resolution, different display type and costs $250 as of now. Comparing apples to avocados.
