"Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday Aug 8–9, 2026" Yes, but the joke is on us, because the local retail stores have moved out, only local grocery stores left open, and there is no sales tax on food all year. Across the border in NH, every store is open and no tax 365 days a year. Maybe there is a connection.
