I've got 2 of these, they work fine. I assume people say they don't work because their trash case that is "MagSafe" isn't and it can't transfer very well.

I have a couple of these Lisen 5k versions because they're so light, it's decent enough to grab if you need to leave the house on a low charge. But it won't fully recharge your phone if you're like 15%, it might get it to 75% which is good enough and better than nothing. If you want a full charge and then some, go with a 10k magsafe, I have a couple but they're a bit bulky.

Thank you for mentioning this. I almost just bought this to replace the BASEUS battery I bought on a previous SlickDeal (ironically back on the FP this morning too) that had the same issue where the battery gets blazing hot. This is terrible for the phone battery and potentially burns the user's skin.

I have a couple of battery/chargers with built-in cables from Lisen ~ IMO, skip the built in cables. They're convenient, but they're not the most durable. Mine started fraying after a few weeks.
