Do I have a problem, or am I just smarter than most?

When I go anywhere now I won't buy stuff unless it is on sale. A lot of times it takes a really good sale like 50% off or more when grocery shopping. At Walmart I am always looking for yellow sticker items. Everywhere I go I am a clearance shopper. I have such a hard time paying retail for anything. My kids see a $4.99 item on sale for $4 and I explain that isn't really a sale. We need a two for $5 or better. Am I cheap or am I smart?
