Got this in queen for 90 a month ago. For an Amazon bed it's actually pretty good quality. A TON of pieces to put together. In my opinion was an insane deal for 1-200. Over 300 for a king just makes it meh. Would wait for a real sale
I got a bed that looks identical to this (but with a different fake brand name) on Wayfair a few months ago for a bit less than this. So this probably isn't the cheapest price possible, but I still think it's fair for the bed.
The build quality is excellent. Zero squeaks. Everything feels solid. The upholstery is pleasant (and looks better than in the pictures). I was nervous I'd be pushing it too far with our heavy full-latex mattress, but it's fine.
The only downside (heh) is that the hydraulic lifts aren't up to the job of a heavy latex mattress—it's a bit of a workout, not to mention a two-person job, to get stuff in and out of the storage area. Presumably that would be better with a lighter mattress.
Lift-storage beds like this have pros and cons in comparison to other bed storage solutions. Pro, it's easier to make good use of the full space under the bed, and harder to lose things. Con, it's annoying to get stuff in and out, especially things near the headboard.
Assembly was a serious job. I love assembling IKEA furniture etc but this may be the most labor intensive single piece of furniture I've tackled so far. Again, I liked it, but if you don't like assembling furniture, that might be something to keep in mind.
