Just a heads up for anyone grabbing these: they are Tuya-based under the hood, so you can pair them directly to the Smart Life app instead of downloading the proprietary GHome one. It makes integrating them with Home Assistant or Alexa way cleaner. Just remember you will need to use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band to set them up.

I needed detailed energy monitoring for troubleshooting, and the only one I found that fit that bill for a reasonable price was the "Emporia Energy Monitoring Smart Plug". https://www.amazon.com/Energy-Mon...B0CLVRZ2QL

Many of they others that did energy monitoring only sampled like every 5 minutes or even longer.

The Emporia does: 1-second raw data is kept for about 3 hours (via CSV export), 1-minute data for up to 7 days, and 15-minute intervals for up to one year.

I needed at least the 1 minute sample data.
