Community Reviews
Wilson Championship Extra Duty balls are framed as a durable, reliable budget option for practice and recreational play, especially compared with Penn Championship. The comments also point to solid value at this price, with some noting they hold up well in ball machines and can last through multiple sets or warmups. The main caveat is that they are not the premium Wilson U.S. Open ball and are not viewed as a pro match ball. A practical pick if you want sturdy extra duty balls without paying for the top line.
These Wilson Extra Duty balls can hold up better than Penn balls during ball-machine warmups and multiple sets.
These balls can work as practical off-court supports for weightlifting bar ends and walker-style feet.
These balls can be a reliable recreational option for league play when backups are needed for the next season.
These balls can be more durable than Penn Championship for some players, even if they are not as long-lasting as US Open balls.
These balls may be more recreational than Wilson's premium U.S. Open line, which can lead to order cancellations.
These balls may not last as long as Wilson U.S. Open balls for players comparing durability.
These balls reportedly are not used in professional matches, with pro events using a different Wilson U.S. Open model instead.
These balls may be less suitable for players who specifically want the Wilson U.S. Open option, since some comments call the U.S. Open line trash instead.

Also, walker feet.
I heard these were used for a sport once upon a time, sort of like a "giant pickleball game"
FYI - Find a local tennis group and you can get tons of balls for free.
I save mine up and go sell them at Play-It-Again Sports, I think they give you like 15 cents each for used balls.
Also, Wilson and Dunlop are the best balls for a ball machine.
Penn are really bad. Play one set, and they go back into the can for warmups a few times before they go to recycling (tennis club) or trash. Wilsons and Dunlops can last a few sets of play and warmups, and they seem to last a long time with the ball machine (depending how many rounds of balls you hit). I do 4-6 rounds of 65 balls, so they last a long while as I only hit each ball 4-6 times.
