Recently bought the 85" and it looks fantastic. First Hisense I've bought, so fingers crossed it'll last a good while!

The U6 is going to have less local dimming zones and likely less brightness. You will get better blacks and brighter colors with this one.

Dang I wish this was the one at Costco, I have a $300 gift card to their and would definitely get this if it was the case. There seems to be a lot of deals right now on TVs, maybe they will have one on one of their models that match this spec wise soon.

Hisense is trash. Got one a bit back and the storage apparently ran out with minimal streaming apps and it loads insanely slow.

Reguardless if you get a cheap TV or a super high end one. Always use a external device like a firestick or roku.
  1. Those have millions of users and will get the fastest and best updates.
  2. Just like your phone as new apps come out your hardware is quickly outdated. Your TV will be fine but you can get the latest and great hardware for $50 every few years.

My 4 year-old 65" QLED Hisense is experiencing serious issues and based on the Amazon reviews I'm not the only one. I will steer clear from this brand in the future.

I've had a Hisense 4k 55" in my bedroom since 2022 and no problems. It's on 8 hrs a night 7 days a week and outlasted my 65" Vizio mini led tv.
