May not be a price mistake but more like they want to get rid of this model. 1/4 inch drive impact wrench is not popular and not very useful. I'd rather get a 1/2" drive and get an adapter for 1/4" if needed.

Agreed since there's currently another deal for a bag, 1/2 drive, charger, and same battery for only $150. Seems like they are just pricing these to sell, rather than a mistake.

Can confirm. I'm just a regular dude doing regular maintenance to my aging 2015 cr-v and the 1/2 in impact chooches. Only use it like 5-6 times a year if even so the hyper tough is a great tool for me and my applications. Idk who needs a 1/4 impact wrench. It robs you of getting to use a small ratchet, which is way more fun.

$80 for tool and battery is nice but what is the point of 1/4 impact wrench? Give me 3/8 at this price and I will buy one and I will put the old one in the car.

Same in all regards. I love using my hyper tough high torque that I bought right after the Torque Test review came out almost 2 years ago.

Oh it's an older episode by now. Came out right after the hypertough line went brushless. Their impact wrenches dog walked a bunch of more expensive ones and proved itself as completely usable outside of a professional environment. Haven't heard a pro sing its praises but 80 bucks with a battery for something that can yank out a crank bolt? Idgaf how cheap it looks sign me up. Think the hypertough is still in the top 5 but TTC admits it's because it's so absurdly cheap and effective. They also have a page in the back of the manual that ensures a "very quick warranty exchange at the Walmart closes to you." I don't think that would ever happen at any of my Walmarts but haven't had to test it.

On this deal can you return the 1/4" tool and keep the 4AH battery? Asking for a friend.

I remember that episode. It covinved me to buy the high torque with 4AH battery and charger for 80$ at the time. That was almost two years ago.

I used it to rebuild my suspension.

Don't forget to wear eye pro as your 1/4" socket detonates into your eyes. What a stupid product. Stick Out Tongue
