Yup, I had 3 sets bought over the last 4 years and all were recalled. I have no proof, but I would be suspicious that this company is a "same company, new name" reboot after the recall.
Which is a bummer because these things are great in winter when I'm outside with the dog for hours.

They're actually the same company as Diveblues brand that got popular with their fans that gets posted on here every so often.
DB has a legit website, not sure of their Oocla brand. I spoke with DB customer service and they're decent. Overall they came up with a reasonable resolution to an issue but took a bit of effort.
Got my refund on their recall and got another email later reiterating they're importance of quality assurance lol. Soo yea take that as you will.

The OCOOPA brand that was posted here has been recalled. Got my notice from Amazon.

FWIW, all mine were Oocopa brand. I'm currently in the middle of the recall process because none of mine had a batch number to enter into their online form.
Govee had a space heater recall last year. The recall process was smooth but of course I'd rather not have a product capable of catching fire without user stupidity involved in the first place.
The Chinese products are great bang for the buck but anything that heats up or can explode like battery packs are worrisome. The problem is finding any product not made in China these days, even if you wanted to pay more.
Looking closely, a lot of "American" products are designed here and made in China. That still may result in a safer product, though.

That govee recall was only recalled because of a code/rule. Not about quality. Something about not suppose to have a smart heater that rotates or something. Can't remember exactly

That tracks. It was actually a fantastic little heater. I still miss it.
I'm also here because I just had 3x of the Ocoopa hand warmers (they look nearly identical to these) recalled. They worked fantastically well and I would love to find something similar to replace them. Gonna keep waiting for ones that at least don't look like a rebrand of the ones that go kaboom.
