I believe the answer is yes. It's still a turn based rpg.

I really enjoyed Yakuza Like a Dragon so this is an easy buy for me.

Community Reviews

This month is anchored by Like a Dragon, Infinite Wealth, a turn based RPG that keeps the series story heavy while smoothing the combat compared with Yakuza Like a Dragon. The comments praise Ichiban, call the story one of the strongest recent game narratives, and frame the wider series as a huge arc when played in order. Dead Cells also stands out as a strong value pick. The main caution is that the Like a Dragon style is not for everyone, especially if turn based RPGs are not your thing.

  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth stays a turn-based RPG, which can match fans of Yakuza Like a Dragon gameplay.

    ryand7651

  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth can feel smoother than Yakuza Like a Dragon while still keeping the turn-based structure.

    LikeABadPenny

  • The bundle can include Dead Cells as a standout title, making the overall lineup feel more compelling.

    ForceGauge

  • You can redeem the game codes and then cancel the subscription right away without keeping membership.

    Eragorn

  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth may not satisfy players who found Yakuza Like a Dragon extremely boring and uninstalled after a few days.

    PocketsThick

  • The Like a Dragon sub-series may be a harder sell for people who dislike turn-based RPGs instead of brawler-style beat 'em ups.

    SpyderZ

  • Billing timing can be confusing because some guidance says you are charged when you see the games rather than only at redemption.

    seier

  • Discounts near the end of the month may not apply if you redeem the month's games before the discount window.

Is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth similar to Yakuza Like a Dragon? Because I got Yakuza Like a Dragon on a prior deal, never having played games from that series.... and it's one of the most boring games I've ever played in my life. I rarely ever uninstall a game before finishing it, but I definitely did it with that game like 3 days after I installed it. I'm not sure if the "Like a Dragon" was a one time thing they did with the gameplay. The gameplay was so dull.

Been waiting for Infinite Wealth. Like a Dragon had one of the best video game stories that I can recall in recent memory. This month is an instant buy for me.

It is turn based, but it's better than LAD was, if that makes sense. They tweaked things to make it smoother, but I still prefer the brawler style games. I also didn't care for LAD and the turn-based style vs. the brawler style of other games in the series (and the 2 Judgment games if you count those as well) so it's love it or hate it with the turn based games. Rumor has it some future titles will also be turn based (insert collective groan here). Playing them all in order though (including the Judgment games) provides you ONE HELL of a huge, amazing story arc though.

For the monthly subscribers, if you redeem one of the keys early in the month do they charge you then or until end of month?

Been awhile but I'm pretty sure they charge you if you claim any game

You've already paid, so it's if it uses a credit you bought. It uses it as soon as you redeem one of the games.
