Refurbished DeLonghi Pinguino Portable AC 14000btu (cools 700 sq ft) for $244.99 at WOOT w/free shipping!! Seemed like a deal to me so I had to grab me one (plus my window unit just went out and these Texas summers will just about kill you!!) It's says they are refurbished but still!!! I have me a Delongi Pinguino 12K in the bedroom and it's been going strong for about 5 yrs now and will keep it ice cold in there if that's the way I want it!!Only includes very limited 90 day warranty from Woot although if you want a 3yr extended warranty you can buy an Amazon Azurion Protection plan for $33.99 and as far as how good those are I'm not certain. And yeah I know inverter and/or dual hose units are a whole lot better but you're going to pay a lot more for those things also, although they should save you on your electric bill to make up for the cost.
