I find Hanes X-Temp to be comfortable, but they are polyester, so maybe not for everyone. They also seem to wear out a little faster. I've gotten a solid 6-8 months out of a pack.I don't know how often other men generally purchase underwear. My adidas polyester briefs are still good after 2 years.

I learned the hard way (got jock itch for the first time) after I switched to polyester because it is does not absorb moisture. They were comphy af, but being in the southwest summer sweat is inevitable so you're wrapping your junk in an elegant plastic swamp. Switched to modal fabric and it's pretty good.

I'm a small guy who has had these a couple of years and was about to order more, so this deal is perfect. To answer your question, yes I think they are comfortable. Although I prefer the trunks.
