VERY overrated movie! Only told about 60% of the battle. All they talked about was how good it looked. I call it "Lots of men hanging out at the beach talking" and not Dunkirk LOL

When you name your picture after a battle you expect it to be about the battle and not require prior knowledge before watching it. If you never heard of Dunkirk before watching this movie, you would leave the theater with tons of questions. If you want to focus on a small part of an overall battle, then don't name to movie for the battle! It's like calling a movie "Pearl Harbor" but only focusing on one ship. The parts he did film were fine. It's just he only addressed maybe 50% of the battle. BTW what were the French doing while the Brits were waiting on the beach to be rescued? According to this film, very little when, in fact, the French holding off the Germans while the Brits escaped was the only reason they had the time they did. The film made it sound like a small British force a town over was keeping the Germans from moving into Dunkirk. I'm sure this movie was a hit in France LOL.

EXACTLY! If anyone wants to argue, they can go watch the original MIDWAY movie and get back to us!
