This was the design inspiration for the Tesla Cybertruck. Other than that, it looks pretty good for the price, thanks OP.

I have this. It works well. Keep in mind that it does NOT refrigerate or keep the ice cold. It is insulated and will stay frozen for a bit - but you either use it, or put it in a bag in your freezer shortly after it makes the ice.

So basically you have to baby this thing and transfer the ice to a freezer before it melts?!

Somewhat. They will keep frozen until the unit shuts off due to a full ice tray.

Agreed - and like I said I have this - but it is less expensive because it does not keep the ice frozen. Its a "use it or lose it" maker.

Get the warranty on these things always. I bought one several years ago (different brand) and they always go out after roughly a year. Just stop working. I do descaler and everything, but there's always some issue. For years I've been able to claim it on the warranty and they give me a gift card which I use to get a new on with another warranty.

I wish there is some kind of home appliance consisting of a thermally insulated compartment and electrical heat pump so that its inside is cooled to below freezing temperature...
