You also have to be careful with these because they can burst a tube of caulk pretty easily. My first attempt with the Milwaukee blew out the back of the tube and required extensive clean up. 😃

This cordless 10 ounce caulking gun is best for high volume sealing and adhesive work, especially when pushing thick materials or clearing dried caulk from a nozzle. It makes jobs like brick expansion joints much easier than squeezing a manual gun, and the included two batteries add convenience for keeping it loaded and ready. The main drawback is control, since small detail beads on tile, countertops, and similar trim work can be harder to manage. Tube blowouts and dribbling can happen if the tip size and speed are mismatched.
Common Questions (5)
It can work for small beads, but only with the lowest speed and the right tube-tip hole size. For fine-detail jobs like tile, countertops, floorboards, and windowsills, precise control is harder than with a manual gun, while construction adhesive and larger jobs are where it shines.
Yes, it is useful for construction adhesive, polyurethane, and other thick materials that a cheap hand caulking gun may struggle to push out. It is especially helpful for high-volume adhesive work, such as going through 10-20 tubes per day.
The included 2.0Ah batteries may swap between Taskstar tools, and these batteries are reportedly compatible with some Makita tools, though that compatibility is not confirmed here. Some similar Chinese-tool batteries fit Makita-style tools but may not register as a battery.
It can burst a tube if the speed is too high for the tip opening or if the gun is used too aggressively. Matching the cut tip size to the speed setting reduces blowouts, and the tube can also blow out the back during heavy use.
SZOOFIM2 generally works, but Amazon may require clicking Apply more than once and refreshing before it accepts the code.

I have their blower and it came with 2x 4.0ah batteries, so looks like I'll have some extra batteries I can swap between them now.
I have not confirmed if they work but read somewhere these batteries should work Makita tools?

I'm not in construction, I just caulk stuff around the house when needed and got a nice manual one for ~$15. Seems like a solution in need of a problem for most people.
