Only one positive review from a customer who actually purchased this (vs. receiving it for free, like all of the others)....and that review has no details whatsoever (it's just a promotion)! Just look at the tiny space for the air output!🤣....You be the judge.

I am thinking of getting one for an upcoming trip to South Asia. But I am cautious about build quality of these fans.

Last year i bought one (green) for $5 for humid singapore. It didn't have a light. It was just a 5speed fan.
I wore a tshirt and untucked button down shirt.
Belt clip sounds nice in theory but air didn't reach my neck/face even at max speed. I tried both tshirt over the fan and just button down shirt over the fan.

So i wore it around my neck which worked great.
but there are much smaller neck fans that can do the same job

I'm a girl .So I wear it around my neck and it rest on my boobs so it's tilted towards my neck .I ONLY have this kindSo I have no experience with others

If your are looking for a legitimate cooling product...look up a product called Sony Reon? I don't have one, but it certainly looked interesting.

Just my one experience but this brand is pretty good. I got this one (no longer available) https://a.co/d/0cpjysPm last year and it has held up well. It doesn't change your world but is definitely better than not having one while traveling in a hot environment and sometimes that little bit makes waiting in long lines outdoors or hiking slightly more enjoyable/bearable. The only issue i have (given a reasonable expectation of how much cooling is possible) is that these run at high rpm and give off a high pitched sound that the dogs hate.

Got one of these a while back in another SD posted deal. Fan works well (although I guess that could change by brand/maker) and I use it when I mow the lawn on my riding mower hanging around my neck. My yard is not small, I would say it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to mow. Fan on high (speed 5) has 80% battery left when I get finished. Worth $8 to me and I can see where it could be useful anywhere in the summer.
