college student laptop less than $700

Hi all
Sons heading off to college so looking for a laptop
16mb 14-16" screen processor doesn't need ai but nothing on the bottom end like Intel N or Chromebook as it will need to last 4 years
Looked at Dell and BB am open to a open box
Located in NY 20 miles from Manhattan

At least 16gb ram thats a non-negotiable. And 256 GB ssd or more.
For AMD CPUs, look for Zen4 architecture maybe Zen3+.
