I bought one of these recently to cool a 5950x, and it's working well for that. Just keep in mind that it's a BIG BOY. It's actually touching the fans on the top of my case. I didn't expect that to be a problem. I had to make both of my top fans intake fans, so this would be touching the frame and not the blades. I also couldn't install a fan in the middle, because you have to be able to access the screw under it to install. And there wasn't enough space to clip the fan on after it was installed.

Works great, though, If you have room. One of the best options for price to performance.

This and it's kissing cousin counterpart, the Peerless Assassin 120 SE, frequently make top tier price/performance recommendations. I have the Assassin on my AMD 9700X, but it feels like I'm insulting the cooler with how little it works to keep the CPU cool.

How much RGB from the middle fan can you even see? Big Grin on my most recent dual tower cooler, I only run the middle fan because the additional fan over your memory sticks doesn't add much cooling from what I've read.

Have this on 9800x3d
Keeps it cool and never have to worry about pump failing or leaking on my now much more expensive components.
Peaks at 80c during shader cache then drops back to 55c to 60c gaming. Idles around 40c.
It was going higher when I first built because I did not tighten it down enough. Couple turns tighter and been great ever since
