For comparison, I own both the BPB40L810 backpack blower (660 CFM) and the BL40L813 handheld blower (550 CFM). Both have more than enough power for anything I throw at it (leaf moving, yard blowing, car drying etc...).
As for runtime, my older 4Ah batteries were still going strong after several years of use. On my 0.25–0.35 acre yard, I was able to mow the lawn and blow everything off using roughly a battery and a half. If you're already invested in Greenworks 40V, or thinking about it, this is a great deal to start or add to your collection.
I was able to upgrade to the 8ah batteries and love them, but the 5ah will be way more than you will need.
