Not a bad deal at all, if there was a bundle of this with a motherboard I would consider it. I have an older motherboard with a 6600k that died and it had perfectly useful DDR4 RAM so I was looking for something like this.

If you have the RAM, you can just buy this CPU for $72 and a decent MB for under $100.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting this and then holding out for a motherboard. This is just a secondary PC for the kids so no rush.

I bought a couple of these for $55 last year. I was surprised they were still selling them at the time and am even more surprised not only are they still selling them, but they cost substantially more. Goes to show you the sad state of our DIY computer market. There should be a Ryzen 9500 for $110 with much more compute by now. I know people want to recycle their RAM but just sayin.

Yes. Exactly what I did since I had 48GB DDR4 from old computer that blew up. Easy way to use the ram without spending too much with spare parts to make cobble together another PC
