I have own every model and use them everyday. The XM5 hinge broke on me after 3 years of everyday use. I recently got the x6 on a deal here last month from secondcity/ebay.
I don't know about focus but the refurbish from secondcity are literally brand new. they come in their sony box with everything wrapped.
