Why do you have 2 if it holds everything you need? You can't even fit 2 pair of beach shoes in these.
7" is the depth on most carry on bags. The bag actually have the same contents volume as a carry on. So that dimension is plenty. Plus these bags allow you to carry stuff inside and outside of the bag.
We pack them when we go on vacation.

I see. And I see how they are very useful for other purposes. I wish I had the extra hands because I hate making more than one trip from the car to the beach.
