Is there a good project or stl file you would recommend or used that worked well?
Does anyone have any personal experience with it?
I've been using MagVent units for years, and installed several in my homes. They're built really well, and make an air tight seal. It looks like MagVent have a few models on-sale on Amazon as well.

For a dryer where you clean the hose once a year, replace maybe every few years, I use a spring clamp that works great - some upgrades are great in theory, but a waste of money
