I would have been installing these every time as a service.
In my last house we had a washer and dryer in a closet, side by side. The dryer had to be pulled out quite a way to get too the clamps for the duct out of the unit at floor level and the vent about a foot or so higher. I had to hang head down over the back of the dryer to try to deal with the clamps. That or I had to completely get the washer beside the dryer out of there so I could access the back of the dryer from the side and try to turn a screwdriver. The one way had me finagling extra length that was not really needed duct behind the dryer. I did end up going with with one of the flat z shaped right angle adjustable housing that fit close to the wall but again getting to the clamps was nightmare that required the washer to be moved. This will let me cut a very short length of vent duct and I would not even have to pull the dryer or washer out to remove the hose clamps and could wiggle the hose till the magnets grab with the dryer being most all the way in place.
But if you run a gas dryer, you are also venting CO which is deadly.
