I've never played a campaign of Gears in my life. Never owned an Xbox growing up. Played the multiplayer a little, years ago at a friend's home. Looks like this will be my first time getting to know the franchise. 👍🏽
For those wondering. The GOTY edition also includes:
1. Gears 5: Hivebusters Expansion
The Highlight: A full 3- to 4-hour story campaign extension starring Lahni, Keegan, and Mac (Scorpio Squad) on a suicide mission across the volcanic Galangi islands.
Features: Includes 3-player co-op, new ultimate abilities, and unique boss fights. (When bought separately, this DLC usually costs around $20).
2. Halo: Reach Character Pack
Unlocks Kat and Emile as playable multiplayer characters (usable in Versus, Horde, and Escape modes) along with noble-themed cosmetics.
The "Gears 5 - Ultra-HD Texture Pack" is available for both the GOTY and standard editions of the game as a separate download.
