Everything else points to them going up...I think gamer nexus or hardware unboxed said that gpu retailers say prices might have a big bump soon.

It is plenty powerful, I had it paired with a 5070TI and later upgraded to 5090FE (lucky find) handles all modern games I threw at it very well at 1440 with both GPUs, it never became a bottleneck. I did upgrade to the 270k plus but that was only because Newegg let me trade in my 265kf and only pay $20 difference (also received othere freebies so I had to take the upgrade). The 265f is going to give slightly lower frames than 7800x3D in games, but will perform very well in productivity
