Awesome deal. A most no difference in performance than my grandson's 400 dollar Hype Fire bat. We use it in the batting cage and colder weather.
Exactly. For $23 you can't really complain about bats and the Quantum isn't a bad bat. I got one for my kid to use as a practice and backup bat when moving to drop 5. And it seemed fine.
At drop 10, most kids are still learning how to hit, getting the bat on the ball or not hitting hard enough to get the full benefit of the more expensive bats.
You do want to avoid the bats that retail at the lowest price range because they're usually made of cheaper alloy and will eventually bend. In our case it was from cage use but have seen some bent ones left around a dugout. But I think the Quantum is priced above the lowest tier.
Also disclaimer I haven't shopped bats in a while but I think the last time I looked the bbcor for the Quantum is around the $80 range.
And just to note this is a USSSA bat. A lot of beginner leagues won't allow this type of bat and require a USA stamp.
