They are mediocre and priced appropriately so. They're good to give to the kids to hit around to see if they might want to continue more competitively later. If you intend to stick with the hobby and play competitively, you'll outgrow these extremely quickly

These SLk paddles have a fiberglass surface. A carbon fiber surface is better. If you want to spend $100, get the original Friday paddles, 2 for $100. If you want cheaper, but probably not as good, get paddles such as Nuipipo at Amazon, 2 for $40.

Depends what you consider breaking the bank. Friday aura is good value but it's not for my play style. I use an Aireo Cyclone elongated and you can usually get them for about 180 through local ambassadors

Bought and returned. The paddles felt unspringy and hurt my elbow after a while.

I actually preferred the Joola ( which I posted recently)
