These Husky 2 ton steel jack stands are mainly valued for their low 10.5 inch minimum height, which helps with sedans and coupes where extra clearance matters. The welds, base, and safety pin are described as solid, and the stands are said to compare well with Harbor Freight options in the same price range. The 2 ton rating is for both stands together, so they are best suited to supporting one end of a lighter vehicle. For heavier cars, the height and angle matter as much as the weight limit, making them a compact, practical choice for lower vehicles.
Shoppers prioritizing sturdy construction, because the welds are described as good and the base has large feet for more ground contact.
They have good welds, a safety pin, and a wide base, and they have been independently tested with generally positive reviews. A prior purchase also reportedly had sketchy welds and was returned, so it is worth inspecting the pair before use and using proper jackstand practices.
The 2-ton rating applies to the pair together, not each stand individually. That means they are intended to support 4,000 lb total when both stands are used, and they are fine for one end of an SUV or for most sedans where one corner is under 1 ton.
These stands have a 10.5-inch minimum height, which is lower than many 3-ton and 6-ton alternatives. That lower collapsed height can matter for sedans and coupes where extra clearance is tight, but it is less important for SUVs and trucks.
I bought some yesterday, nice and solid with good welds and pin for added safety. Better than my harbor freight ones
How are they better than your harbor freight ones? Harbor Freight sells 3ton jack stands not 2ton. Harbor Freight has a parking lot sale going on right now with 3Ton jack stands for $35.
The huskey 3 ton and 6 ton stands are highly rated by Project Farm youtube channel, a truly unbiased sponsored tool review channel. I have the husky 6 ton jackstands, they are excellent stands. I can't describe in words, but I compared it to other jackstands I have and can tell they are far superior (same price range). The welds are good and the base has big feet(more contact with the ground).
Husky jackstands are great.
Project farm claims he buys all his product but never shows receipts. His testing is limited and not always the best.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Harbor Freight, Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, your mother all sell 2 ton, 3 ton, and 6 ton. Saying this 2 tons on sale is inferior because there is another 3 ton on sale somewhere else for $10 more is an interesting take in life.
Y'all know the reason to buy 2-tons is for the lower minimum height, right...? These are 10.5" minimum. The HF 3-tons are 11 3/8": HF 6-tons are 15 1/4". I have some 2-tons from another brand that are a little under 10".
Doesn't matter for SUVs or trucks, but it makes a huge difference sometimes when jacking up sedans or coupes. Obviously, if I'm going to jack up all four corners it's gonna end up on top of 6-tons for the increased stability (if nothing else), but having a set of 2-tons around helps a lot in getting there.
Why spread false information about these when A) there have been absolutely no documentations of failures. B) they have been independently tested and C) generally positive reviews.
Look, if you're jacking up your 2-3-4k lb vehicle, you better have the ability to ensure ANY piece of equipment doesn't have manufacturer issues. Thats for any brand.
Rememeber jackstand safety is 50% the jackstand and 50% how you use it. I'm going to assume that it's safe to say the people ragging on these are in the latter if they've ever even used a jackstand.
