I installed this in an older car (2004) to get modern tech. Bought a wire harness for my vehicle, installation was pretty easy, just do your research for your vehicle if possible. I'm happy with it, works well. Only downside is if you want to use hands-free calling with your phone/bluetooth you have to find a spot and route the microphone cable. Easy to hide the cable but hard to "hide" the microphone so most people just clip it to their visor which creates visor-usage problems.

I find that these simpler head units typically sound loads better than their "build-as-cheaply-as-possible" Apple CarPlay counterparts. This one comes with a ton of nice power-user things too like time alignment. Good buy for those who don't require TV screens in their cars meant to drive.
