Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition on GOG is a sprawling open world RPG that now feels much improved after years of updates, with Phantom Liberty called out as a standout expansion. The build variety, choices, voice acting, character interactions, and huge city to countryside scale are strong draws, and the DRM free GOG version is appealing for players who prefer owning games outright. The main caveat is save management on GOG cloud saves, which can hit size limits if you make lots of manual saves. It is a polished, content rich package for players who want the full Cyberpunk experience.
Players who value a complete single-player package, because the base game now feels essentially finished and the expansion is widely praised.
Players who want a sprawling open-world RPG, because the city and countryside are huge and the game can support hundreds of hours.
Players who enjoy choice-driven builds, because attributes and playstyle can change results and keep guns from dominating combat.
Players who want a polished version of a formerly rough release, because updates fixed the early bugs and slow performance well.
Players who want a story-first RPG, because the narrative can feel only okay even when the visuals and voice acting stand out.
Players who rely on GOG cloud saves for lots of manual save slots, because the 200MB limit can force regular save deletion.
Players who expect Steam-style workshop mod support, because this version has no modding workshop and likely never will.
Players who care more about substance than graphics, because the game can look great while feeling shallow.
