This Kraus 33 inch granite sink and faucet combo stands out for its clean look and flexible installation, especially when the cutout already matches or when an undermount setup is possible. The black finish can be hard to keep looking clean, and the overmount style is less convenient to clean. The side offset drain may also require plumbing changes and a garbage disposal adjustment. Overall, it seems like a practical fit if the layout works and you are willing to stay on top of maintenance.

Common Questions (4)

  • Some parts and replacements have been sent free of charge, including faucet parts that failed over time. Other experiences report poor follow-up on scratches or leaks, so support can be inconsistent.

  • Several owners report years of trouble-free use from Kraus sinks and faucets, including refurb and undermount setups. Others report scratches, leaks, and weak faucet design, so long-term durability appears to vary by product and use.

  • The black finish can be hard to keep looking clean, and an overmount design is also less convenient for cleaning. A deep scrub with Bar Keepers Friend, then drying and rubbing the sink with mineral oil, can restore the look for about six months.

  • The side offset drain can make it less straightforward than a standard center-drain drop-in. It may require adjusting the drain pipe and garbage disposal, though it can still be undermounted if it matches an existing countertop cut.

Didn't know there was so much hate for Krauss sinks. I've had my stainless undermount for years now with no issues or concerns. I got it as a refurb on ebay with the springy pulldown faucet for under $200. I've always felt like it was a good deal and it's been a great kitchen sink and faucet for my family. Sorry for the others with bad experiences, but no Krauss hate here.

I have had two Kraus sinks and three Kraus faucets and they have all been great. Did parts on the faucet fail over time, sure but Kraus sent me new parts free of charge. I have found them just as reliable as Moen, Delta, Pfister and Kohler.
