FYI, this works if you buy any of those titles through the 5 for 15 HDX mix and match they have in the Deals section. Just bought Journey and Outland as part of the five and I got an email with the promo code like five minutes later.

wow that is a lot of titles Big Grin time to see what's on d2d..i also just recently learned that you can stack more than one code per ticket in an order now, at least up to 9, just fyi Wink

One warning is that is you have the Fandango movie club, $ off promo codes do not apply to the prices you are paying but the price of the ticket plus a fee. So you get less money off.
This promo code took $2.80 off for me.

I have previously contacted Fandango about this and their promo codes go off the "total price including fees" even though you do not pay the fees. As a side, would not recommend getting their movie club.

Assuming you're talking about the convenience fee, you always have to pay it unless you're ordering tickets from AMC and you have AMC Stubs Premier or A-List, then the fees gets waived.

If you have the fandango fanclub (movie club) you do not pay convenience fees when you buy tickets from them. Their promo codes are not setup correctly though and take the price off the entire cost, including the fee, even though you do not pay it. The math shown on the final screen does not work out and you end up not saving the whole promo code amount

I see. I'm not the Fandango FanClub member so I don't know anything about it. I was going to sign up, but Fandango has some of the craziest restrictions they called anti-fraud in place. I missed out the special FanClub promo few months ago because my credit card was rejected at the time. You cannot use the same credit card twice within 24 hours regardless of promos or movies. The same IP address will only work for up to three orders and after that orders gets rejected even if you use a different Fandango account. Three failed transactions on the same IP address and your Fandango gets suspended plus any other accounts you used. You can use one promo code per ticket, so when I used the $14 off two IMAX ticket, I could only use one $5 off code.

Based on my experience with the summer offer. I won't be renewing. I have had the issue with promo codes only taking off a smaller amount. Currently dealing with customer service as one of my $10 codes did not work and I have been working on that for 3 weeks. Waived fees is nice. The $5 every 4 tickets purchased is nice, but the service has too many weird issues that customer service tries to explain with ridiculous logic.

Fandango is a fraudulent company. If you check my post for the similar promo in the past, I got ripped off many times. Sometimes it was buying the listed movie but didn't receive the movie ticket promo code. Several times Fandango expired the movie ticket code after just one week. Back then Fandango and VUDU would blame each other and I got kicked around wasting over an hour transferring back and forth. But this year has been good so far, no early expiration and no missing promo code. But I do hate the fact that Fandango thinks people are trying to cheat on movie tickets by doing some of the most draconian measures in place to prevent you from ordering movie tickets.

I'm a AMC stub member, so I get $5 for every 4 tickets purchased with convenience fee waived on Fandango. So it wasn't a big deal that I missed out FanClub. But from what you're telling me, it's best to avoid it as I don't have much to gain other than some $20 credit to be used on Fandango At Home plus a few bonuses.

OP,

You say you can stack this with the IMAX promo. My question is how, and are you absolutely sure? I've never seen an instance where somehow two codes are allowed on a single order.

Same happened to me when using a $5 off promo for Mortal Kombat II and Supergirl. Customer service kept running around in circles saying they didn't understand what the problem was even after I sent breakdowns of the fees.

They are absolutely scamming people in the promos because in other situations, like taking $10 off with Fandango credit during the Summer Pass promo, correctly reduce the amount. Same for the Moana $15 off Subway promo, that one worked exactly as intended. They just kept acting clueless which was infuriating.
