I owned this bike for a short period of time. It weighs 52 pounds. No cut outs in the wheels and the frame is steel. If you plan on using this on actual trails, you won't be able to enjoy it very much. I ended up giving it away

This bike is bad ass. Like a lifted truck on 38s when rolling by. When in doubt just power out, she will get through sand, mud, snow without killing you like a 2 inch mountain bike tire will. Yes it's heavy and a great work out. I take mine out when it's a mess.

Oh fun fact, when riding it deep water it will eventually turn into a tubing down the river scenario.

That said I can't believe this is over 200$ now

Not sure if would still make financial sense given the lower cost of ebikes these days, but a few years back this model was an ideal candidate for e-bike conversions.

Edit: Nah, I wouldn't bother. I forgot these are mechanical disc brakes (not hydraulic), quick-release axles (instead of thru-axle), and freewheel (not modern free-hub). For the money, unless you really just want the cheapest fat bike you can get, I'd avoid.

As soon as I read the listing I was thinking 50-60 pounds not an enjoyable ride unless you want to wrestle this thing up hills will build lots of muscles LOL!😄

could put a bafang motor and it would still be fast

For sure, that's what people did with these when you could get one for $200. Nowadays though you can get a full e-bike with battery for less than it'd cost for a bafang and battery + this frame and likely also have hydraulic brakes.
