About this item:
The KastKing HyperSeal Waterproof Tackle Box comes in two different sizes, 3600 and 3700 boxes that fit in popular tackle bags or boat storage systems. Each provides ample space for organizing all your fishing gear, from crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinners, spoons and so much more. Also works great for hooks and terminal tackle.
The tackle organizer has adjustable dividers that allow the angler to create a custom fit for all sizes of lures. Removable dividers lock into place and do not allow hooks and terminal tackle to move between spaces during travel or in a boat. Each divider has small holes to allow for additional ventilation during storage. Each box comes with a desiccant to keep your lures rust free. The transparent lid makes it easy to identify which lures are in the box before opening.
The HyperSeal Tackle box is fully waterproof to prevent rust. It is shock and wear-resistant, and its sturdy frame with a heavy-duty locking latch prevents moisture from entering and protects fishing gear. The sealing ring attached to the lid effectively waterproofs lures, hooks, and other accessories, keeping them dry and safe.

When finished selecting the proper bait, quickly and securely close the box with just one hand. These are the best of the less than horribly expensive waterproof boxes.
Plano edge is absolute garbage in comparison and
yes I do have many Plano edge to compare.as that is what I started with.
This is still more than I have paid for any of my 3600 and I don't believe I ever paid as much as $13 for 3700 either. Not sure if the cheaper prices will come again though so probably good time to buy it needed.
The problem here is that if you put a lure back wet, the seal traps in the moisture - which compounds the problem.
Wet lures in a standard no gasket box stay wet. You let lures dry 1st if you can at all help it.
It can help to have a tiny box that holds your used lures until you can wash (for saltwater particularly) and dry them after trip.
There is almost never a time time a good waterproof box is not worth it if it's not outrageously priced.
Even if you care nothing at all for waterproofing, the latch and more tight lid are worth it.
The Plano edge latch warps and the latching is done backwards to intelligent operations. These KK are easy to open and close one handed, with less likelihood to have lure movement and lid stays flat unlike Plano which warp as cheaper unsealed boxes do leading to movement between cells and possibly loosing small things like hooks out the box.

I just use silica packets from the Jerky I eat while out on the water in my boxes. I keep a ziplock bag at home for collecting and randomly throw them in my tackle boxes. Never have had a problem with rust.
