didn't know pc builds were even going for that much, got a slightly better build off amazon few days ago for $550 5070, 32gb, 1 tb, i7 14700
You should have bought a ton of them since that's cheaper than what the 5070 costs.

It was on Amazon in the middle of the night apparently for a few seconds/minutes. Likely a price mistake but some folks apparently got it. We'll have to wait for something else.

Personally I don't think so, but these days prices are very high for memory, GPUs, etc. I would consider something like this to be a better deal, but it is refurbished and not sure about Acer quality vs iBuyPower. Maybe around the same...

Have you not heard of the Core Ultra series? This is an old cpu. They are retiring this old naming convention due to rearchitecturing. These will be outdated. There are also major flaws with 13/14th gen and got a lot of bad press. Manufacturing tech is screwed due to all kinds of logistics issues in the last year so they need to start selling what is left over to keep bringing in money. There's a reason these prebuilt makers are pairing these components. They don't sell, unless they have something that someone really needs, like lots of ram or in this case a 5070. If you want a well rounded dependable pc nowadays you will be paying out of the ass for it. Very easily and visibly the biggest bottleneck here is ram. Google it - idle, windows 11 uses at a bare minimum 4gb of ram.I'm not saying this is a bad build. It is good enough for typical every day use. But it is not specd to be a well rounded performance pc that can last a decade. It is specd to sell, shipping one decent component while the rest is subpar. Dont believe anything i say, go learn about it. They will soon be selling these builds with DDR4 ram and 50 series GPU. Since they need to sell old DDR amid shortage as everyone wants RAM, and 50 series GPUs will be the only reason they will sell despite having other nondesirable and poorly QCd components.
