I just attempted to cancel my upcoming Starz renewal. After I selected "other" as my reason for canceling, I was then taken to page to renew my subscription for $2 a month ($24) for 12 months.

I canceled Starz a long time ago. Just logged in and was offered a year for $29.99. It looks like they have some decent shows and movies now. Also had an offer on AMEX for $3 back on a $3 purchase at Starz. Thanks OP!
Honestly should be their regular price. It's about what I've paid for the last few years. Have a calendar reminder to cancel every year and every year they offer something round that. But I am not sure why I am doing it as these days I rarely find anything I want to watch that isn't available elsewhere.
Last year i got it for $12 for a year. mine does not expire until Sept 30th. it did offer it to me when i said it was too expensive. It will auto renew on Sept 30th. i guess for $2 per month, i have had worse decisions.
I've been on the 12 month promo for $12 since last September. I usually only find 1 or 2 movies a month I want to watch. I'll pass on this offer. They seem to specialize in action movies with IMDB ratings under 5. I believe they are also the only major (or sort of major) streaming service that streams only in HD.

Well, I'll wait for the $20 or maybe, the $12 or $14 a year deals because ever since STARZ spun off Lions Gate films into Lionsgate Studios, it seems the movies and shows offering have started to dwindle down to mostly action movies. Also, I wanna see what is gonna happen tv series wise with STARZ as a stand alone company, since 50 Cent and STARZ decided to part ways meaning the many Power tv series they created together are beginning to as some of them already have, winded down to their own series finales.
