Last year I ordered on the app and when I got to the store, the girl working by herself there said they were out of the stuff to make my order and told me to contact Subway support for a refund. Well.... we know how there is no support at all for Subway lol When you submit a contact form on the Subway website, it just sends that message to that particular Subway's management. So fast forward, I still haven't been refunded my $10 for that order. Never got my food or refund. I went in multiple times to ask about it in-person and they don't know how to do a refund for an order and say only the head manager can do it but they are never in.
I mean, I like Subway but ugh these issues have been super annoying to deal with. 100% non-existant customer service. Subway has to be the worst company I've dealt with when it comes to customer support at any level because of all the stores being franchises are being allowed to do whatever they want.
Lol sorry for the rant but yeah

This Subway BOGO footlong offer can bring prices back to a more reasonable level, and the discount has worked cleanly at some participating locations. The strongest upside is simple savings on qualifying subs, with the deal even showing as half off in checkout for some orders. The main friction is that participation is inconsistent, some stores do not honor coupons or cancel orders after submission, and the app can be unreliable with payment, gift cards, and checkout. A useful promo when a nearby location actually accepts it.
The B1G1 Sub Club offer can bring Subway prices back in line with expectations.
The iOS app can successfully apply the FLBOGO deal when Apple Pay is set up and funded.
Some locations support the deal and allow orders to go through without issues.
The deal can work when the app checkout is functioning and the correct payment method is used.
App gift card credits may not apply to B1G1 orders unless the credit fully covers the food cost.
Subway app checkout can fail on the payment screen, making ordering effectively non-functional.
The deal can be hit and miss across franchise locations, with some stores not honoring it.
Orders can be submitted and then auto-canceled or voided after locations later refuse the coupon.

Couple that with the tightwad franchise owners putting up signs like "no coupons accepted" "limit 2 napkins per sandwich" and then wanting me to tip them for making a sandwich rather than just paying their employees fairly..
No thanks, I'll just go to Jersey Mike's, Publix, Harris Teeter, Firehouse or one of the many other sub places where the price is usually less, no hoops/games to play over coupons and the quality is way better.
The thing looks like is that it's either account locked, or the payments processor isn't going through. Either way, it should be an easy (because it worked before).
Edit: Got it to work. Thinking it really was a payments processor, I went and set up Apple Pay on my iOS and added $100. Using that as the funding source worked just fine and the order was placed
