From time to time Walmart may offer to all, or select, Walmart+ members the ability to participate in certain trial benefits ("Trial Benefits") that are being piloted or tested for the Walmart+ program and/or for wider distribution. Utilization of such Trial Benefits is not mandatory, however, should you choose to do so, any such utilization is in all cases subject to the relevant terms of use for such Trial Benefit. Any Trial Benefits and the relevant terms of use will be identified in this section. Trial Benefits may at any time be discontinued, or modified, and the length of time during which they are made available and/or to whom they are made available (including to non-members of the Walmart+ program) may be changed, in all cases in our sole discretion and without any notice to you.

This Walmart+ oil change perk cuts a full synthetic service to about $43.88 plus tax, making it a strong value versus DIY or typical shop pricing. The main appeal is convenience, especially for drivers who would rather avoid changing oil themselves, and the discount can apply automatically when the Walmart+ barcode is scanned at checkout. The biggest friction is execution, since some Auto Care Centers seem unaware of the offer and wait times can be long. A practical option if your local store can process it correctly.

The Walmart+ in-app barcode is accessible through store mode and can be shown for scanning at the register.
Some visits report the $25 off discount working when paying through Walmart Pay with the Walmart app.
Some service experiences report oil-change work being handled by the book with torque to spec visible through glass.
The $25 benefit often fails when employees are unaware of the offer or cannot apply it at checkout.
Auto Care Center speed can vary by location and may involve several hours of turnaround time.
Barcode scanning can fail to trigger the $25 discount even after scanning the Walmart+ in-store barcode.
