Yes, brand new this month. My auto center had no clue either and said they likely are not a participating location. I opened up a chat with customer service and they verified otherwise. I called the auto center back and told them and they put a call into corporate, called me back and told me I'm all set and to just bring my phone so they can scan my Walmart+ barcode. You can pull up a scannable barcode in the in-store offers section, any offer will work, they all just link to a barcode that scans your Walmart+ member ID into the system. The link I provided brings you to the FAQ which includes details, very bottom of the page.

Similar issue here. I spent half an hour at the Walmart Auto Center counter, and their staff had no idea how to apply it. I waited for the manager to come back from lunch, and still no luck.Even more ridiculous, when I contacted Walmart.com customer service, the first response was that no such benefit exists. It took the agent a while to finally understand this new benefit, yet there was still no solution.No one seems to know how to apply it, and scanning the barcode in my Walmart app doesn't work.At the end, they gave me a $10 coupon as compensation — absolutely not worth the wasted time and hassle.

That's awesome. Wish it was unlimited for like $5 off or something. They have really good prices and they have a mobile way of appointments. Only problem is half the time they are soooooo slow. Unreasonably slow

Having used a few different Auto Care Centers I can say speed is definitely location dependent.

How do I use it. I schedule in advance then just have them scan my Walmart plus barcode? I don't see any mention of it on the appointment or the app

I was just about to start doing it myself because I learned you should just be putting synthetic in every car.. but at this price it's basically the same as even kirkland synthetic, and I can shop instead of getting sweaty under my car

I checked with customer service through chat and they said when they scan your barcode it will automatically apply the discount.

I recently canceled my Walmart + subscription. I wonder if I use that deal they keep pushing in the app to come back and get 1 month for $1 and then automatically bill regular price going forward I could get this to load on my account? I would then cancel before the end of the initial 30 days.

In the mobile app, in the account section, click on "New: In-Store Perks!" You'll see a couple offers there that give an option to show a scannable barcode, which translates to your Walmart+ member ID.

Per the FAQ this is for annual subscriptions only.
