HD offers free shipping, 90-day return window vs 60 day return window. It's easier to return items to Home Depot if you have any issues if you are not close to any Bomgaars. If Bomgaars was close to me then I would choose them.

I just built my 200sq ft deck using a dcf850 I got from this exact bomgaars deal. The driver worked flawlessly, never blinked, even on 5in powerlags. Sure the 860 has more torque and would drive screws slightly quicker, but unless you're a builder using it everyday, this should be more than adequate. Plus, the short head came in very handy when installing blocking in tight spaces.

HD price match is hit or miss. Phone guy said they don't do bomgaars but text matched it.

I think it just depends on the rep that you get. My guy said they're not a competitor since they're a wholesaler so they generally don't price match but he went ahead and did it anyway.

My experience was, they gave me a screenshot of home depot that says "Exclusive" and he thought that means only Home Depot carried that model and they cannot price match since the "competitor" should not have it. I had to show them that Dewalt themselves point to 20 other competitors that has the same model.

Just be nice and keep trying I guess since I had to point them to their own policy. Got them to price match in the end but it is indeed. A struggle.

Why do you guys want to try to price match instead of supporting the vendor who is actually offering the price to everyone directly? Is there a problem with their shipping or any other issues? I never heard of this retailer before but I rather buy from them instead of trying to give business to Home Depot if they are not offering it at this price in the first place?

Wow, this is an awesome deal. I don't need this but chiming in to say I have several impacts, including the Dewalt 860 and Flex Quick Eject. The Dewalt 850(this deal) is the one I grab for most often

Update: got it price matched in person at my local HD. Bomgaars does not ship and I'm states away so this was the clear decisionPerson at customer service desk had no issue price matching. Worth noting, the associate that helped grab the driver and walked me to the desk. Asked how much my price matching was for and he acted shockedHe said it retails for $250 (its listed as retails $219) and went to a manager as I was purchasing to question the purchase. Words out of his mouth was "isn't this a loss for the store?" But manager seemed to be confident it was ok. Mentioned a threshold of $50 and out the store I went!
