McDonald's app breakfast sandwich deal is a strong discount on eligible breakfast items, especially where regular prices run around five dollars or more. The offer is tied to Rewards, valid at participating locations through 10, 4, and in some accounts it appears weekly or even daily. The biggest draw is the steep savings on McMuffins and biscuit sandwiches, with some locations still allowing steak, egg and cheese bagels through the Deals tab. The main catch is that bagels and steak have been removed in many areas, and the exact sandwich list and redemption limit vary by market and account.
Common Questions (5)
The deal can include Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese McGriddles, and Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddles. In some areas or app versions, bagels and steak items are excluded, while other accounts still show a broader selection.
Some app versions still allow the steak, egg & cheese bagel if you enter the deal through the Deals section, and it can be a strong value versus the regular local price. Other versions remove bagels and steak entirely, so availability depends on the current offer shown in your app.
The headline price is $2, but commenters report seeing $1.50, $1, $3, and even a daily $2.50 breakfast sandwich offer depending on location or account. That makes the app price highly regional, so the exact discount can differ from the posted deal.
The posted offer is once per week through 10/4 at participating McDonald's, but some accounts show a different version marked valid 1x/day. That means the redemption limit can vary by region or account, so the app's deal screen is the best place to confirm your version.
Yes, it only works for breakfast items before 11. After breakfast cutoffs, the offer does not apply.

Interestingly, the $2.50 breakfast sandwich offer is also still available, and it's good daily. And that may be the deal some people think was the $2 deal, or it may be different in different markets.
