The last month they had the bagels on it and I was getting the steak bagels with substituting round egg but they finally removed that this week 😭

McDonald's app breakfast sandwich deal is a strong discount on eligible breakfast items, especially where regular prices run around five dollars or more. The offer is tied to Rewards, valid at participating locations through 10, 4, and in some accounts it appears weekly or even daily. The biggest draw is the steep savings on McMuffins and biscuit sandwiches, with some locations still allowing steak, egg and cheese bagels through the Deals tab. The main catch is that bagels and steak have been removed in many areas, and the exact sandwich list and redemption limit vary by market and account.

  • The deal is available through the McDonald's app at participating locations and is valid once per week through 10/4/26.

  • The $2 breakfast sandwich offer can be a noticeable discount versus local regular pricing around $5.29.

    Isitbudgetfriendly

  • The offer can include higher-priced items like the steak, egg and cheese bagel when selected through the Deals section in-app.

    swagqueen

  • The app can support Egg McMuffin customization by substituting regular bacon for Canadian bacon with a small upcharge.

    SlySol

  • The $2 offer can exclude bagels and steak, limiting eligible sandwiches to biscuits and McMuffins with specific meats.

    Walstar2jayadams22

  • The app deal can be less attractive than other app promotions, such as $1 coffee or free medium fries with a $1 purchase.

    Pi.314Pi.314

  • The McDonald's app can raise privacy and data-access concerns, including location requirements and broad device permissions.

    ctcsdctcsd

  • The redemption experience can vary by how the deal is entered in the app, which can prevent selecting certain items from the homepage.

Shouldn't have to use an app to get a deal. Just offer those prices in stores.
Exactly. Just to USE the McD's app (even for menu browsing, not just to place an order), the app REQUIRES SPECIFIC LOCATION. Not to mention, you're agreeing to let them have access to literally everything about you and your device, including camera (and microphone obv), shared storage, everything else you do online or on other apps…it's all their in their non-privacy privacy policy…

Not a good value. They even have the audacity to do television ads for the $8 big mac meal. LMAO they are out of touch.

Haven't seen any good app deals this year so haven't ate there this year.
I guess McD saw the foot traffic decline and finally gave us a small bone.

$2 is a lukewarm deal for me. i would have bought if 2 for $3 if i was on foot close to a McD.
If $1, i would have gone drive through if it's on the same road i'm on anyway.

They also brought back free medium fries with $1 purchase. (lunch/dinner)
I find this a better deal than a $2 bfast sandwich.

I was near a McD yesterday afternoon and would have bought if this was on the app.
But it wasn't so i just walked on by.
1day too late
Agreed free medium fries with $1 purchase. (lunch/dinner) when burger was $1 was a good deal.

i remember when you could do this every day and there was even a loophole for a while where you could order the steak bagel one

its definitely a regional deal because i haven't seen this coupon in the app for at least 2 years now, just the coffee and bogo
