For now, this is still available new, open box, from Focus Camera for $218 ($229 - 5% using code "focus5"). Focus Camera is an authorized Sony dealer.

Edit: Just got mine today. Appears brand new, sealed in original packaging (no marks whatsoever).

I recommend signing up for stock updates on the product page.

I've had the chance to compare these to the Sony XM3 and the latest Bose over ears and the XM6 definitely have the edge when it comes to noise canceling. They also were the most comfortable. They were still at about $300 at that time which was too much for me. I really only listen to podcasts and youtube these days so can't comment on their musical fidelity.

As a user of the Sony WH-1000XM6 I can say the noise cancellation is unmatched by any other headphones. I use it for work to concentrate, and it just makes the room silent and lets me focus. I just want to put my two cents on the quality of these headphones. (I purchase brand new)

Community Reviews

The Sony WH 1000XM6 stands out as a premium wireless noise cancelling headphone with top tier ANC, strong comfort for many, quick pairing, and sound that lands near the top of the class. The refurb and open box units have repeatedly arrived looking new, often with the carrying case and cables, and the low price is far below the $460 MSRP. The main tradeoffs are comfort for long sessions, since some find the clamp too tight on flights, and warranty details, since the eBay listing includes a 2 year warranty while other options are only 1 year. A strong value if the fit works for you.

These are out of stock and Secondipity on Ebay includes a 2-year warranty (Sony direct or Focus camera is only 1 year).

I checked prior to posting my comment. They're still available right now.

They were in stock at Focus this morning when jhamman posted, but they are out of stock again, so it must have been very low quantity re-stock.

eBay's 2-year warranty is a nice perk here for sure.

Definitely a nice perk for the eBay option. One item to keep in mind, most CCs will double a manufacturer warranty up to an additional 1-year. So the Focus Camera option could have a 2-yr warranty coverage for some (1 yr Focus Camera + 1 yr CC warranty extension)

Tempting. But I will hold strong for the sandstone or olive color.

Of all the premium headphones I've had over the years, these remain my favorite. I have them in sandstone. Always connect quickly without any issue; sound is amazing. ANC is amazing.

They're as close to perfect (for me) as it can get. Might grab me a pair of these as a backup for down the road.

Took a gamble and grabbed a pair earlier today. Already shipped. I'd rather have a 2-year warranty on a refurb pair at this price than new with 1-year warranty at full price.

I don't think CC warranty extension applies to refurbished, open box or used goods.

Interesting that the URL says it's for the earbuds but it actually points to the over-ears headphones.
