This deal is Gen 1. Gen 2 adds 30 vs 24 hr battery, ANC can finally be turned completely off (Gen 1 can't), USB-C lossless audio, Bluetooth 5.4, improved calls/ANC, and Cinema Mode. Sound and comfort are basically the same.

I got these so road noise doesn't drown out my audio when I'm out walking, earbuds haven't been able to cut it for me but the Bose do the job well. My only complaint is that I wish they were sweatproof.
