The wattage display is actually pretty handy for troubleshooting bad cables or seeing if a device is fast charging. The device recognition and percentage display are mostly gimmicks though, especially since the internal database is fixed and can't be updated for future phone releases. Still, $26 is a decent price for a compact 45W charger with those flat folding prongs.

I have this and a competitor's. The screens are useless. They are fun the first time but not useful. Charging works fine. I recommend just getting a good 45w charger for less.

I have this and a competitor's. The screens are useless. They are fun the first time but not useful. Charging works fine. I recommend just getting a good 45w charger for less.

Can't believe they didn't add BT so the firmware could be updated. USB C power meters are like $10 oon Amazon and provide way more info too.

They offer firmware updates on Anker Prime chargers, but Nano. I guess, too much hassle for this price for their support to deal with bricked devices.

This is a shill post that gets reposted ALL THE TIME. Anker must pay Slickdeals a lot to push this overpriced charger. Look how often it gets posted and how many shills come out and boost it up and say how wonderful this charger is. And how many of them will downvote this comment.

I purchased this at $30 for the same purpose. The price value as a charger is poor, but the wattage confirmation has helped me sort and dejunk various cables.

You would be better off buying a dedicated power meter to use with any charge brick. I have the YEREADW KWS-2303C ($12 on Amazon), and it works really well for my use.

Bought a 45W Anker GaN charger (1x standard rear USB-C port, no smart display) from Anker outlet on eBay for $16 too, so the price washes out compared to this, and I can use the power meter with any source and cable.

I have this, it's fine. The screen is only the top half of the charger. The bottom half is just plastic. Good charger, but more of a luxury item. I really like it, but this definitely is a extra disposable income item.
