In most cases I don't think "people" find these coupons.
SD is part of a promotional network that gets these "coupon" codes from the sellers as part of a coordinated advertising campaign.

You should note that it takes a 30 amp 120v outlet to properly run this welder. That's not very common unless you have a small RV hookup. Many generators have a 30 amp outlet. If you are stuck with a normal 15 or 20 amp outlet, don't expect to weld much over 1/8" thick steel with this.
All that said, this could be a welder worth owning.
