Think about how these quick disconnects attach, they have no indexing to stop the thing from rotating
Will the bottle end up above, below, to the side of the non foam spray nozzle? Reviews seem to indicate so
I decided against this on a whim purchase for that reason

Yes that's exactly what happened to me. Love my foam cannon (Sunjoe) then saw this model with the extra arm . Seemed like a good idea so found just the extra arm on amazon for $9 and added to mine. It was horrible . Like you said it doesn't stay up like in pic but constantly drops to side. I returned it.
