e.g. If I use it in the brightest mode. All done, so I turn it off. Next time turned on it is in a less bright setting, so I have to press many times to get back to the brightest setting I wanted to use again. That means NO MODE MEMORY.
With mode memory, it turns back on starting with the mode I turned it off from.
